Love & the Lack Thereof

repeat

I can’t seem to stop playing your song on repeat. your melody is still fresh in my mind from the first time I ever listened to it. your rhythm still sweeps me off my feet, like that night you asked me to dance. your words, your words, I keep coming back to them; I try to wrap myself around them so I can cover myself from the looming reality that maybe you moved on to another song.

maybe you moved on to another song.

maybe I should turn the repeat off.
